The driver of a tractor was pinned under his vehicle on May 28 and was freed by the Rye Fire Protection District (RFPD) in the accident reported at about 10:30 a.m. The driver was in the process of setting large wooden poles into holes drilled in the ground. The tractor was on a slight incline and tipped over pinning the driver. RFPD freed the driver and even though there was no visible injury put him on flight for life because of the time it took to free him. Deputy Jeffrey Alfonso was on scene for the Pueblo County Sheriff.
