Kathy Lesser, Colorado City, lead concerned valley residents in an effort to prevent approval of a retail marijuana outlet largely based on proximity to areas where children live and frequent. Community efforts were unsuccessful as Plain Jane Organics received unanimous approval by the Pueblo licensing board.
