Virginia Rose Pykiet was welcomed by her Heavenly Father on March 21, 2005. She was preceeded by her husband Esker Carl Pykiet of 42 years.

Virginia was survived by her loving daughter Karen Elizabeth Pykiet and beloved grandchildren Diana Pagnotta Ohlsen and Phillip W. Longgrear and adored by her great-grandchildren, Clinton Ray Pagnotta and Crystal Lynn Longgrear.

Virginia will be fondly remembered for her dedication of 50 years to the Railroad Industry, her sincere love and bond for animals and her gentle spirit for people.

At family’s request, in lieu of flowers, donations in Virginia’s honor can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Rye, Friday, March 25 at 3:00 p.m.
