The Rye menís basketball team faced major tests this week. The Bolts faced the two toughest teams in the Tri-Peaks League.

The first game of the week was a visit to the Colorado Springs Christian School to face the Tigers. Rye played very solidly in the 1st quarter, winning by two. It was all downhill from there, as the suffocating defense of the Tigers held Rye to a 36 point output. CSCS won by a final score of 52-36. Junior Bryson Benedict, who scored 15 points in the loss, led Rye. Junior Jensen Brower also added eight points.
