The Rye Women’s Basketball Team played two tough home matches this week.
Rye opened up their week at home against the Trinidad Miners. The Bolts opened up the game strong, and led at the half by 1 point. As the Bolts entered the second half the game stayed tied late. The game was 37-37 with only 50 seconds on the clock. After a clutch steal by Ella Peters, Laura Ambler went to the free throw line with a chance to break the tie. Laura sunk two clutch free throws to give Rye the lead with 11 seconds.
