On March 4 at about 2 p.m. Deputy David Morey responded to a Colorado City address in regard to a report of a theft.
The caller stated that he received an e-mail from the Library in regard to a Tablet he had checked out at the library. He said he had never checked out a Tablet and then noticed his library card was missing. The caller said he believed a house guest had taken his library card and checked out the Tablet.
The caller said he didn’t want to file any charges he just wanted the Tablet returned to the library. Officer Morey went to the library and asked about security camera footage. Management was contacted but the tapes had not been given to the SO at the time of filing this report.
The Tablet is valued at $130.
