The Rye High School Band, singer-songwriter-tribute artist Marvin Thiel, and pianist/organist Bob Flinn will keep the crowds entertained at the Greenhorn Valley Chamber of Commerce Business and Wellness EXPO at Craver Middle School on Saturday April 1, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

In addition the Pueblo County Sheriff’s D.A.R.E. Humvee and the S.W.A.T. team, along with a Rye Fire Protection District firetruck, will be in the parking lot giving children and adults alike a chance to visit with the officers.

Cold and hungry? No need to worry. The Lion’s Club will provide breakfast and lunch with plenty of green chili from Max’s Place to warm everyone up.

The largest number of booths in recent history will be set up in the foray and the gymnasium for display to the public. Attendance at the EXPO is free.

At 11 a.m.; noon; 1:00 p.m.; and 1:45 p.m. there will be a multitude of giveaways and drawings. Prizes will include a plasma-cut project by Bill Mansfield of True Value Hardware, a rifle or hand gun($250/value) from Bam Bam Sporting Goods, and a $100 gift card to Valley Market. The winner of the firearm will have to pass a background check and pay taxes, as well as the background check fee.

Merchants at the EXPO will also be giving away a number of prizes. In order to win you must be present.
