As of Wednesday April 12 there were 754 inmates in the Pueblo County Jail which was built to house 509. Of those 754 inmates 279 males and 71 females were incarcerated for felonies. Twenty-one of those were felony 1, the most serious offense someone can commit,

American Medical Response received the “Small Business of the Year” award by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce at their annual Small Business of the Year award luncheon. Steve Shirley, vice president of information and technology at Parkview Medical Center, won the Charles W. Crews Business Leader Award. About 200 people were in attendance at the luncheon.
