On the last day of the Colorado legislative session, the state House of Representatives gave final approval to save Colorado hospitals from $528 million in funding cuts with the passage of Senate Bill 267 which exempts hospital provider fees from limits set by the Colorado Tax Payers Bill of Rights (TABOR).

Four Hundred Thirty members of Pueblo Community College’s graduating class were honored at the Southwest Motors Event Center last Friday evening. The venue is located on the Colorado State Fairground. Former PCC President, Tony Zeiss gave the commencement address. Zeiss was President from 1985 to 1992.
