Pueblo, CO: With the sale and use of legal fireworks permissible in Pueblo County this Fourth of July, local fire officials urge citizens to be responsible with their holiday celebrations.

“While we want people to have fun celebrating the Fourth of July, we remind citizens that state law prohibits the use of any firework that explodes or leaves the ground,” said Pueblo County Sheriff Kirk M. Taylor. “We urge all citizens who plan to celebrate the holiday with fireworks to remember to use only those that have been deemed legal and to use them in a safe and responsible manner.”
