Ruth McDonald and Shelley Riddick, co-owners of the Gold Dust Saloon and restaurant plan to retire after 33 years as owners of the business. The restaurant is located at 217 S. Union, Pueblo. The business will continue to operate but is now for sale.

A bear was euthanized last Wednesday morning after it knocked down a woman who was eating in her tent at the Aspen Acres Campground located on Colorado 165 in the San Isabel National Forest. Colorado Park and Wildlife officials said the bear pounced on a tent and knocked the woman down. She was not bitten or clawed. The event occurred last Tuesday morning about 10:30 a.m. The bear weighed about 350 lbs.

To date, Pueblo Crime Stoppers has paid citizens whose information and tips have led to the arrest of wanted Safe Streets suspects over $2,000. Of the 135 Safe Streets suspects highlighted 116 of those have been arrested.
