Rye Menís Soccer started off the year playing against the Ellicott Thunderhoawks at a home game on August 29th. The team played an amazing game coming out with the win. The player of the game was senior Colton Sims, scoring three of the four goals. Junior Kye Neilsen scored the last goal, to finish the game with a 4-1 victory. Jansen Hildreth, Kye Nielsen, Brock Roman, and Wyatt Willis, had one assist each. Also goalie, senior Dalton Strickland, had 13 saves in the game.

The team then went to Leadville on September 1st and 2nd to play in the Lake County Tournament. The first game was against the Mead Mavericks of Friday the 1st and ended with another Bolt win as the team worked together to pull off a score of 2-1. The player of the game was Carson Crain, in honor of the number of steals he made on defense. Junior Hildreth, put up one goal, while exchange student Shogo Minamoto, scored the other. Nielsen and Roman both were credited with assists for the goals. Strickland had the ability to block down 17 of Meadís attempts to score during this game.
