Over 100 people turned out for the 4th Annual Hoof-it for Harlie race and raised a little over $8000. All proceeds go directly to Harlie’s Greenhouse in Rye.

Wade Janacek of Denver set a new record in the ½ marathon, completing the course that begins in Rye and winds its way down to the True Value Hardware complex in 1:29.14. Second went to Remington Peterson of Rye in a time of 1:43.32. Peterson is 15 years old.

Two nine-year-olds tied for first place in the Kids ½ marathon. Lowery Kirkland and Axton Ehrich ran the 13.1 miles in 2:45.26.
