Deb Decker moved to a house on the Bartlett Trail with husband Ed in 1980. The Grants, New Mexico native had met Ed over 40 years ago when Ed worked as a steelworker for the uranium mines in New Mexico.

Ed was born and raised in Rye and his 102-year-old mother, Anne, still lives next door. Ed, an electrician by trade who worked for CDOT (Colorado Department of Transportation), is retired now and Deb followed suit. She worked for the lottery for 21 years, retiring as an Account Tech III. The last 15 years of that tenure were spent in collections. She also has bank and bookkeeping experience from her years in New Mexico.

They have been married for 40 years; and have four boys and five grandchildren. All but one son lives in Colorado. Ed enjoys hunting and Deb 'tags along'. They both enjoy fishing and take a lot of trips to Blue Mesa. They love spending time with their family. By all accounts life is good.
