For those of you who ainít read my last few columns yet, QUICK! Get it out of the bird cage before its completely covered! Okay, now, for all you regular readers (thanks mom) you may recall that I started an advice column a while back hoping to lend my sage advice and ready wit to help everyone out at this hectic time of year. And Iíll tell ya what, my inbox ainít quit its dinging since. Unfortunately, by the time I worked my way through all them free offers (which ainít free at all as it turns out) the only real email was pretty much a lost cause. I mean I can help some folks, but holy cow this fellerís pretty much hopeless.

This email comes from a lady who only identified herself as ďThe WifeĒ. Seems this galís husband is pretty much helpless when it comes to home repair and spends a lot of time away from home. She writes, ĒWhenever the old coot (I reckon thatís her pet name for him, kinda mushy if you ask me) goes out hunting or fishing heís always getting into some kind of trouble, usually trouble that includes expensive repairs. Iím trying to feed horses here, you think he could be considerate enough to stop wasting money on hunting and fishing trips!Ē She goes on to say that she also wishes heíd get off his dead behind and get the goldurn corral gate fixed.
