The Colorado City Board of Directors passed a budget covering the period January 1-December 31, 2018, at their December 12 meeting, on a unanimous vote of directors in attendance. Additionally, the board passed four supporting resolutions:

Resolution 9-2017: Adoption of the 2018 budget, almost unchanged from the draft proposal presented during public hearings on October 24 and November 28.

Resolution 10-2017: The appropriation of sums of money equal to or less than the total budget.

Resolution 11-2017: Amendment to the rate and fee schedule that elevated green fees charged by HolyDot Golf Course for the calendar year. Daily green fees went up by $1 while Tuesday-Thursday foursomes were increased by $2. These fee increases are expected to offset the increase in Colorado’s minimum wage, approved by the voters in November.

Resolution 12-2017: Establishment of a levy of 17.967 mills on assessed valuation of taxable property ($20,597,9630), which is expected to generate $370,083 revenue for the district.
