Freshman Chloe Richardson scored five points and freshman Tess Zupancic scored four points and had five rebounds but youth couldn’t keep up with the experienced Lamar team as the women’s basketball team fell 60-15 on the road.
Junior Hannah Ambler added four points and five rebounds of her own, along with two assists in the loss.
“We are still very young and inexperienced,” commented Head Coach Kermit Spencer. “I am proud of the progress the girls have made since our opening game of the season against Lamar. I saw times when the offense ran efficiently, the defense was solid, and the team looked comfortable on the floor.”
