The Greenhorn Valley News- March 19, 1992 - 12 Pages – Black and White – 35 Cents per copy

The Colorado City Metropolitan District announced base rate increase from $8 to $9.10 per month and approved Senior Care Systems of Pueblo taking over the lease of the Lake Beckwith marina from the Ark. The Board also appointed judges and established a polling place for the upcoming May election. Judges appointed were Doris Landerway, Bill Galpin, Mary Lou Potter and Donna Baker.

U.S. Postal Service contract employee, Bill Wright was honored for his civic mindedness, outstanding service, and humanitarian deeds he performed on his mail route between Pueblo and in the Greenhorn Valley.

The Greenhorn Valley Players were ready to present the melodrama entitled “Why Was Beautiful Bertha Being Beleagured?” written by Clifford Pattison. Cast included Peggy DeAngelo, Dick Greet, David Reinke, Miki Burg, Lorraine Dobbratz, Myrna Wolfe, Dorothy Pattison, Marianne Townsend, Tina Koukol, Dolores Johnson, Simmie Thorpe and Brian Stallberg.
