Seven members met up for the regular monthly Greenhorn Valley Chamber meeting. The focus of this meeting was preparations for the Business Expo that is scheduled for April 7, 2018. Marcy Freeburg has sent out emails and regular mailings to prior Expo participants in hopes of bringing more businesses. There have been approximately 12 booth spaces sold to date, and there is still lots of interest in others purchasing booth space. She noted that several purchases of memberships, renewals and booth rentals are being done successfully now using the cell phone Square program. The board voted to purchase the booth equipment versus renting due to the costs and shipping fees. Gift card prizes have been purchased and the Lionís Club will again be providing food services. Talent spots have yet to be confirmed.

Chamber equipment set up will be April 6th, @ 5:00 p.m. Vendors will be allowed in on the morning of April 7th after 8:00 a.m. to set up their booths. It was also agreed to provide a $10.00 discount coupon towards the purchase of a new membership to those who purchase a booth spot at the Expo. The Business Expo doors will be open to the public at 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
