Colton Sims, Gabe Slade, Ben Squier and Akash Patel won the silver medal in the 4X800 meter relay, the highest finish for Rye, in the LaJunta Tiger Relays held on the 21st. The team ran the event in 9:14.95. As a team the T-bolt boys finished 11th of 20 teams. Coronado won both the boys and girls division.

Jolee Ortiz, Hannah Ambler, Makayla Rodriguez, and Emma Lesser won the third-place medal in the same event, the 4X800 meter relay in the girl’s half of the division. They ran the race in a time of 11:30.84. The foursome had the highest finish for the Rye girls’ in the 25 team meet. The T-Bolt girls finished 12thoverall as a team.
