One of the individuals running for a spot on the Metro Board seems to be playing fast and loose with the truth. In his interview he states that he were going to file ethics complaints against a board member on the CCACC. Just who was that board member and who were you going to file a complaint with? If you did file a complaint, where is the paperwork? And then you made the allegation that the rest of the board members quit because we may have been unethical. I was on the board at that time and the truth is that you harassed our administrative assistant until she quit. In her resignation letter she stated she was quitting because of your abusive attitude and physically threatening behavior. In another letter to the board she expressed concern because you stated that she should “watch her back”. At the time I was unaware of this and I received an e-mail that all other board members had resigned and that I should probably do the same. I did just that, not because of any ethical problems. I just could not see a board with only one member. As far as ethics, I will match my record against his any day.

Two of the former board members have since passed away and they cannot defend themselves so I will do that. The other board member may not want to get involved. But I am tired of this candidate making innuendos that somehow the people who served at that time are all crooked. I do give him credit for single handily destroying the CCACC with his bullying and constantly threatening to call his lawyer during the meetings. He is correct that it is a thankless job. So why did he want it so much? Was it for the good of the community or for personal gain.

When you get your ballots, think real hard about the type of people you want running your Metro District.
