Over 50 people packed a room at the library Wednesday evening to hear the four candidates for the two positions on the Colorado City Metro District share their thoughts and feelings about the position.

Incumbent Susan Kalman, candidates Bob Cook, and Greg Collins answered a dozen questions from moderator, Jake Brunick, and the audience. Incumbent Patti Wadlington was a no-show for the debate citing physical issues.

The generally older crowd spent two hours listening to the candidates who had a three-minute maximum answer time in a rotating order between the three in attendance.

Brunick opened the debate, with a pre-revealed question asking each of the three how they saw the role of a metro director.
