On April 28 deputies responded to a call-in regard to a suspicious person report in Rye. The call came at about 4:45 p.m. A male party was reported to be sitting on some mailboxes. He was transported at this own request to a business on the interstate to await a ride.
At about 7:30 p.m. on April 30 a traffic accident call was investigated on a Colorado City street. The reporting party indicated they had accidentally backed into a neighbor’s mini-van causing minor damage. The reporting party indicated they wanted to have it documented but the two parties involved agreed to handle it civilly. The Deputy documented, verified that was the agreement.
Another accident was investigated on April 26 at about 7:30 a.m. The driver of vehicle #1 admitting not stopping at a stop sign and running into driver #2. Damage to both vehicles was minor. Driver #1 was issued a citation.
