Dirk Aissen has years of experience in the car racing game; late models, sportsmen, street stock, shifter carts, and road racers, he has driven them all. A second(possibly third) generation race car driver, whose sister and brother-in-law owned a race track, Aissen has always been around racing. He has raced in most of the Midwest but had not raced for sixteen years before he bought his current car. This is the second car he has owned himself.

His current street stock car is a 1978 Ford Thunderbird with a 351 Windsor engine with 421 horsepower. He races in two to four races on Saturday nights at I-25 Speedway (formerly Beacon Hill), beginning at 6:00p.m. His pit crew consists of himself, cousin Brandon Spielman, and Gerry Sutherland. Aissen is currently one of the top contenders at I-25 Speedway. July 7th will be his next racing night.
