Ralph Taylor, 82-year-old retired nurse practitioner, has been playing with trains for over 40 years. Last Thursday, as most days, he and some other members of the Pueblo Model Railroad Association could be found in their new location at 301 N. Main having a “fun day” working on, driving, discussing, building and assembling model trains.

“People think that most of our members are retired train employees,” commented Taylor. “Of our 25 members only two have ever actually worked for a railroad. The rest of us just fell in love with trains at some point and love all things train.

Taylor and his 25-member club will present their 8th Annual Rail Fair on August 11 and 12 at the Historic Pueblo Depot, 132 West B St. The fair will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day.
