I suppose by now most readers are aware of the latest revelation that Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, is an alleged sexual abuser. Both parties will have their day in court Oh!, Wait a minute, I mean their showcased day in the Senate an other coup for network ratings, but will prove nothing. No one is lying if everyone truly believes what they are saying, even if they disagree. Judge Kavanaugh and Mr. Judge (the other party in the accusation) claim that Ms. Ford's statements are completely untrue. Ms. Ford believes that her memories of that incident, recovered after 30 years of dormancy in a psychotherapy session are true, even though as a Ph.D. psychologist, she should be well aware that such recovered memories are often fictitious. Nevertheless, we are witnessing the effects of political correctness, as sexism (the new racism) requires that we refrain from suggesting that Ms. Ford is motivated by anything other than sincere concern for the good of the republic. And that, as a woman, she is not to be accused of playing the gender card for crass political purposes, or that her delicate sensabilities be bruised by questioning her memories.
