Ledama Tajeu who is the new Choral and Instrumental Music Director at Rye High School and Craver Middle School was such a pleasure to interview.

Saying that this is his 5th year of teaching public education and that, “I worked for 3 years as an elementary teacher in Denver and am currently in my 2nd year as a middle and high school band/choir director. I also taught 5 semesters at the University of Alabama as a graduate teaching assistant in the Jazz Studies Department.”

When asked where he received his teaching degree he said, “I received my master’s degree in Instrumental Education from the University of Alabama and also hold a second master’s degree in Jazz arranging/Jazz studies. My undergraduate education is in Music Technology and has been put to use in our new Music Technology course being offered at Rye High School.”
