After more than 40 years and 34 seasons the popular Rocky Mountain PBS educational program “Matchwits” is calling it quits. The program began in 1977 and filmed it’s final 15 episodes over the weekend. The final season will air, beginning in mid-January.

Statistics from the Pueblo Police Department indicate overall crime is down through the first three quarters of 2018 compared to the same three quarters in 2017. The tracked crimes were down from 5,864 of those crimes last year to 5,268 this year. Included in the statistics are aggravated assault, arson, auto theft, burglary, homicide, sexual assault, robbery and theft/larceny.
