On November 28th Rye High School ESS (exceptional student services, previously known as special education) teachers Karen Hopkins and Kim Robles hosted a meeting with parents, several local businesses, and support agencies to discuss the need for a transition program for students in the Rye/Colorado City area. Our area has around eleven students ages 18-21 that are in need of a transition program to help them move from high school to adulthood. To read the entire article, please subscribe.
