Michael Atencio was named to the First Team All-State team with his state championship at the 2A state tournament in the 112 lb. weight class. Atencio, a sophomore, was the first state champion in the history of Rye Wrestling.

Cole Miller was selected Second Team All-State in 2A wrestling. Miller won the silver medal in the 106 lb. weight class. Miller is a freshman.

Hannah Ambler, senior girls’ basketball player, was named to the first team all-conference in the Santa Fe League and was invited to participate in the Colorado Coaches of Girls Sport all-state game. Girls’ Head Coach Kermit Spencer has not heard the results as of press time.
