Recover. Renew. Restore. Such simple words with so much meaning sum up the goals of Sarah's Home, and offer so much hope to the girls they rescue.

Sarah's Home is a faith based home that provides healing, education, medical care, spiritual guidance, and job and life skills training to twelve to seventeen year old girls who have been rescued from sex trafficking. The home provided sanctuary for the girls and provides skills for the girls to survive and thrive so that they can reclaim the lives they had before tragedy struck.

Speaker, Vickie Proffit shared some heartbreaking facts, stories, and statistics about sex trafficking at a meeting Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Rye Home United Methodist Church Educational Building. Some facts that Proffit shared are:

85% of children being trafficked in the United States were born and raised here, not in a foreign country.
