On April 24, 2019, at Rye High School the 7th annual K-12 Talent show was held. It began at 6:00pm with the top five acts from all three schools performing. Everyone who performed at the talent show received an award for being there and a coupon for ice cream at Viktorios.

Serenity Kirkendall won first place for the elementary level singing her rendition of the popular Ed Sheeran song, “Thinking Out Loud.” Jacky Newitt and Taylor Kenney won first place for the middle school level singing Lady Gaga’s newest song “Million Reasons.”

Finally, Gabe Slade and Parker Brown won first place for the high school level. Parker played the trumpet while Gabe played the piano to an original mash up. There was also an award given for most exciting performance, which went to Max Cassidy for his original rap song titled “Strawberry Luv.”
