A 31-year old man was shot by Pueblo Police after an all night stand off on Bohman Avenue. That was the third officer involved shooting by the Pueblo Police Department this year. The victim, Danile Gurule, had been pulled over on a routine traffic stop when it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant in Weld County. When he was ordered out of the car he sped off. They tracked him to a residence and discovered he had a hand gun. The police worked for several hours to talk him out of the apartment. The shooting happened when the suspect aimed his handgun at the officers, including the SWAT team. Citing an ongoing investigation, little more information was released.
