On Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Hollydot Golf Course Clubhouse, San Isabel Electric presented The Friends of Hollydot with a " big" check. The size and flair of the "big check" made the presentation fun and a little glamorous, and the $250 donation was met with appreciation and gratitude. San Isabel Electric board representative for our area, Dennis Maroney made the presentation to the group.

Marty Unruh, Chairperson of The Friends of Hollydot said, " We are so excited to receive this money. It will allow us to continue with some of our many ongoing projects."

The Friends of Hollydot is a non-profit volunteer group which assists the Hollydot Golf Course. The group supplies the labor and solicits donations, both monetary and materials to be used in the improvement of the course and its facilities. They recognize that the benefits of the Hollydot course are much more outreaching than only to the golfing community. The course is a valuable resource in fundraising efforts for many groups, both local and statewide, as well as hosting several levels of High School tournaments.
