The man arrived after a fall on some furniture and the attorneys said if the man had been treated promptly the paralysis could have been reversed and the jury agreed.

In 2018, 27 volunteers and four on call chaplains contributed 4,069 hours to the Pueblo Police Department. That service amounts to about $109,000. Those volunteers were honored at an annual dinner hosted by Police Chief Troy Davenport.

Pueblo Community College will not have a tuition increase for the 2019-20 academic year. The news is a result of the Colorado State Legislature recently approving $120 million in higher education funding. In addition, it was announced that 13 college foundations and the Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges will award nearly $6.5 million in scholarships to approximately 4,000 students in the community college system.
