Greenhorn Valley Social Shuffle is a rapidly growing free and enjoyable combination of exercise and socializing. As if the warm welcoming faces of the organizers and participants, choice to go the distance and the speed you want, beautiful scenery, and free of charge weren't enough motivation, you may also go home a prize winner. Local businesses are participating to give away prizes each month. In addition, after just ten times of registering at check in, participating in walking or running any of the routes, and purchasing a beverage from the Round Table Sports Grill each time, you would be eligible for a free Greenhorn Valley Shuffle T- Shirt.

Kelly Hale created the Social Shuffle group. She was driving to Pueblo each week to participate in the same type of group when she realized it was cooler and much prettier right here in the Greenhorn Valley. She contacted the Round Table Sports Grill, Greenhorn Valley Ace Hardware, and Mountain Disposal who agreed to sponsor the event. Hale then created the Face Book Page for GHV Social Shuffle, got the event on Greenhorn Valley Events, and on the Community Calendar in the Greenhorn Valley View newspaper, and generally spread the word. The first Social Shuffle was held on June 12,2019 with eight participants. The group has now grown to between 20 and 40 participants each week. Ages of the participants range from 2 years old to 70+. Entire families come out to enjoy family time and exercise together.

Hale says, " The mission of the GHV Social Shuffle is to gather adults and families for healthy exercise in a social setting, and of course , to enjoy the beautiful outdoors of the valley. It is a weekly evening get together, designed to build healthy bodies, healthy businesses, and a healthy community
