Minnette Williams, Postmaster for all of Pueblo, and Dianne Widener, Postmaster of the Sunset Station in Pueblo are lending their 62 years of postal experience to the new Colorado City Post Office.

Both ladies agreed that the training of the Colorado City staff is going very well and in the words of Williams, “everyone is picking up things very quickly.”

Local Postmaster Traci Long said that things have been going well. She indicated there were a few glitches, but the process overall has gone well. Long anticipates that in 4-6 weeks the post office will be fully up and running.

Long also has posted updated hours. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mail can be picked up from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. On Wednesday the mail can be picked up until 6 p.m. and Saturday hours have been extended from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Posted mail can be dropped off at the local branch.
