Greenhorn Valley Chamber Saddened by Henderson's Resignation

In a fast paced Greenhorn Valley Chamber of Commerce meeting, Chamber Board member, Sheila Henderson submitted her resignation. Sheila has recently retired from the Bank of San Juans and wants to have more free time. The board accepted her resignation with sadness and gratitude for her many years of service. They honored her by presenting her a plaque honoring her time and service.

Susan Ingraham received a unanimous vote to join the Chamber Board to represent non-profit groups in the area. She will begin her position immediately.

The Raleigh James Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Greenhorn Valley Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for Saturday, September 28, 2019. Registration starts at 8am with tee off at 9am at Hollydot Golf Course. Prices are $70.00 per person or $280.00 per team which includes cart, green fees and lunch. Mike Bowler has designed a new eye catching entry form for the event. The event is a four man scramble. There will be a lot of prizes, a silent auction, gift bags and special contests. Mulligans will be sold. Sponsorships are being sought. There is one event sponsorship available for $1500, which includes lead advertisement, one team, website and event recognition and hole sponsorship.
