Last Monday, Jennifer Swartwood CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) opened her personal, individualized training program at Valley Fitness. The name of the business is Bodywork Fitness and initially Swartwood will be available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Swartwood offers personalized training, sports performance, general fitness goals, overall health improvement, strength training, physical therapy follow-up, weight loss, and senior strength and flexibility.

Swartwood is certified by the National Counsel on Strength and Fitness, First Aid, CPR and the use of automated external defibrillator (AED).

Swartwood is a former NCAA National Qualifying college athlete at Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado. She has multiple throwing records in the hammer throw and weight throw. In a sport dominated by 6-foot-tall women, Swartwood tailored her lifting and training to overcome the height and muscle mass advantage of the larger women.
