Volunteers for Community's 3rd Annual Kickin' Good Barn Dance, held last Saturday, raised just over $6900 for the ongoing renovation of the Peaks to Prairie Community Center in Colorado City. The crowd danced and tapped their toes to Adam Ashley and the Cash Only Band. The BBQ buffet was enjoyed by all. Many in the crowd participated in learning three country line dances from Cassie Luttrell and were able to put their steps to song afterward! There were plentiful and varied silent auction items, bringing in $2380 towards the dance proceeds. VFC would like to thank all sponsors and local donors of silent auction items that made this Barn Dance the most successful to date.
