The Fifth Annual Colorado City/Rye Lions Club Autumn Car Show and craft fair will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Greenhorn Meadows Park beginning at 10:00 am and ending at 3:00 pm. Cars will register from 9:00 am until 10:00 am the morning of the show. The registration fee is $30 for cars and the show is open to all years, makes and models of anything with wheels. Non-food vendors are also welcome and can obtain a space for $30.00.

For over half a century the local Lions Club has served our community through a multitude of programs including meeting the visual needs of young children in our community, providing Christmas boxes of food for deserving families, assistance with childrenís clothing and presents for at least 100 families and providing scholarships for Rye High School Students, among other projects.

There will be music by a DJ, a 50/50 raffle, and raffles and door prizes every thirty minutes at this family event. There is no admission for spectators, although donations will be accepted.

The Lionís Club Chuckwagon will be selling breakfast and lunch.

Participants in the show will vote for their favorite cars and the Top 20 Cars chosen by the participants will receive plaques. Fire Chief Steve Bennett, Pueblo County Sheriff Deputy Cody Scheid, and Lions District Governor Terry Milsom will comprise the panel of Judges to determine the overall Best of Show for the Lions Trophy.
