The Rye Home United Methodist Church will be holding their Annual Fall Fair on Saturday, October 12 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the church grounds at 2063 Main St. in Rye.

There will be lots of music, food, fun and arts and crafts booths. In fact, it’s not to late to get a FREE booth by calling 489-3614 or 676-3741.

In the food department the feature this year will be a sandwich patterned after a Walsenburg creation that all the teenagers near and far loved in the past. The word Smores’ has also been thrown about in pre-Fair literature.

If you have an old shirt and pair of pants you are invited to bring them along, throw in a hat, and you can make a scarecrow.

Money collected this year will go to El Centro de Los Pobres, located at 212 E. Highway 50 in Avondale Centro de Los Pobres provides aid to more than 5,000 families of migrant workers in the Diocese of Pueblo.

Their mission is to positively impact the health, well-being and access to healthcare and wellness services for Pueblo’s underserved populations.
