The Greenhorn Valley Chamber of Commerce meeting of November 20, 2019 covered a lot of topics in a short amount of time, making up for the meeting missed in October.

New business discussion was brisk with plans for the Annual Chamber Dinner, to be held at 6pm, January 30th, 2020. Locations for the dinner were discussed, as were ways to invite businesses, and business speaker options were reviewed. There was also a discussion about the year-end awards for businesses and business owners/managers. The dinner and meeting will be open to all area businesses, whether they are current Chamber members or not. The Chamber board invites everyone to attend as plans for 2020 will be discussed, business awards will be given, and a motivational business speaker will share knowledge. Letters will be sent out to area businesses in December notifying of the annual dinner and meeting, asking for nominations of business of the year and person of the year. Please respond to the letter in time for the information to be processed and RSVPs to get a count for the dinner. Annual dues for the Greenhorn Valley Chamber are only $60 for small businesses and $120 for Corporate memberships.

The Greenhorn Valley Chamber business spotlight advertising campaign kicked off on November 14th with the interview with Dr. Cameron of 3D Vision Eye Care appearing in the mass mailing of the Greenhorn Valley View . This particular issue of the newspaper was distributed to everyone with a zip code in 81019, 81069, several areas in 81004 Hatchet Ranch area, and two areas of 81023 in Beulah, a distribution of approximately 3000 papers. The business spotlight ads will also appear in digital media on the Chambers face book page and website. The business spotlight ads will appear at a rate of one or two a month and are of no cost to the businesses, they are paid for by the Greenhorn Valley Chamber as a benefit of being a member. The publication order for the business spotlight ads was determined by a random drawing during the Chamber Meet and Greet BBQ in August 2019.
