On May 26 at approximately 10 a.m. Deputy Melinda Solano-Gifford was dispatched to a Pueblo West residence in reference to a stolen vehicle. The reporting party indicated that they noticed their vehicle missing from the driveway at about 9:30 a.m. The vehicle had been in the driveway at 9:30 p.m. the night before.

The person who drove the vehicle in the evening laid the keys on a counter in the home. A neighbor saw the vehicle leaving the residence at about 4 a.m. A neighbor next door, who had a vehicle parked next to the missing vehicle had their window broken out of their vehicle. The missing vehicle was entered into NCIC/CCIC as a stolen vehicle.

On the same date at about 11:30 a.m. in Pueblo West, Deputy Lawrence Finn was dispatched on the report of criminal mischief. The reporting party indicated that when returning from a camping trip they noticed the back window of a vehicle at the residence had been broken out.

There was a hole on the upper left corner of the window that may have come from a pellet gun. A security camera on the property was unable to assist in when the incident happened. The damage to the window was estimated at $500

Theft from a storage unit in Pueblo West was investigated by Deputy Trae Borror on May 25 at about 10 a.m. The renter of the unit indicated they had not been in the unit since July 2019 so had no idea when someone cut off their lock, stole numerous items and replaced the lock with another lock. The RP had discovered the issue on the current date.
