"My husband, Lu, is an air junkie," laughed Tammy Carlson Toxvard. Sounds quite likely to me, as the couple owns not only a NA 170B Cessna airplane but also a hot air balloon. Since it is not something that many people own, I had to ask, "How did you come to own a hot air balloon?" Tammy explained, "We were at the Erie, Colorado Hot Air Balloon Event one weekend and really enjoyed watching the balloons. The following weekend we went to Longmont just to watch them and wound up working on a crew. The following weekend we went to Gunbarrel and worked with the same crew. We just enjoyed it so much that it wasn't long before we started talking about wanting a balloon of our own."
