On May 28 our good friend Dick Scrivner and his wonderful wife Emma were helping us with a construction project at our home on Dodge Road. Unfortunately, a large 4x4 fork lift machine that Dick was operating on uneven ground rolled over on its side. We called 911 for help. Rye Fire Protection District Emergency Response A Team and Pueblo County Sheriff Deputies arrived quickly with multiple units. The A Team assessed the situation and executed flawlessly as a unit with great professionalism and care. On behalf of Dick, Emma and our family we want to express our deepest appreciation and thanks to the terrific members of the RFPD A Team and Sheriff Deputies who assisted us that day. We are truly fortunate to have such dedicated and professional emergency personnel in the valley. Thank you!
