The Pueblo City Council rejected an ordinance that would have made violating the public health order requiring a mask into a proposition that would carry a fine by a 4-3 margin. The proposed fine was $1,000.

The Pueblo Chieftain will bring Cory Gardner and John Hickenlooper together on October 2 at 7 p.m. at Pueblo Community College for a debate. There will be no audience for the debate but it will be live streamed. Editor Steve Henson will moderate the event.
