The decision to hire Greg Coulter as an independent Operator in Responsible Charge was announced by the Rye Town Board at their meeting on September 9, 2020. He will be in charge of the water plant operations. Coulter comes to the Town of Rye with many years of experience behind him in water and waste-water management. Coulter also works for the Town of La Veta.

Rye Town clerk Sherri Beach advised that Coulter, engineer Ken Young, and Town of Rye employee Gib Rokich have had one meeting to discuss Rye’s water issues and equipment and “things really clicked between them.”
