The day begins around 6am for the D70 COVID Response Team. Sitting socially distanced around a large conference room table, the 4 member team reviews the previous day’s COVID data in Pueblo County and starts the process of responding to possible exposures within the school district. “At times we sound like a reception area of a hospital. We are on 3 different phone calls asking people; ‘do you have symptoms?’, ‘when did they start?’, ‘were you around someone who tested

positive?’,” commented District Public Information Officer Todd Seip. “We ask just a ton of questions as part of the investigation process. It helps us track and trace back to potential spread events in the community.”
