If the polls are correct (and that's a big IF), former VP Joe Biden will be our next president. And if it follows with down ballot voting, Democrats will retain the House and gain the Senate. It's hard to say that Mister Biden ran a stellar campaign that was very short on issues and very large on beating President Trump over-the-head with the Covid-19 dilemma the country is in. Of course, he had two thirds of his work done for him fortified by the anti-Trump movement that's existed for the past four years. The other cozy third of his effort was taken care of by a coddling mainstream media. So when all is said and done, he had the most comfortable run in history from his basement in Wilmington Delaware. There were some on-the-road visits that didn't generate a whole lot of enthusiasm probably why there were so few of them. Okay, enough of that from a sour grapes voter, but really time to get serious. President Biden's Inauguration Day will be the start of a countdown clock ticking away the days of how long he serves in office. The reasons for the clock in the first place is three-pronged: first, with a history of mental lapses during the campaign, it leads to doubts on whether he can take the mental strains required, hence the implementation of the 25th amendment for removal; second, he brings with him the story of the income producing Biden family with foreign entities, and how he'll carry out his foreign-policy with respect to these entities, if it comes to pass it could be an impeachable offense; and last but not least, with respect to his age and God forbid, death. Of course, realizing any of these events will result in a President Kah-mah-lah Harris and the open salivation of the liberal and progressive wings of the party. I might be challenged by a reader stating that this couldn't happen in a Democrat controlled Washington, but when you look at the recent history of the party, any means, no matter how incorrigible, is acceptable for an end.
