On November 4 at approximately 1:43, Deputy J.D. Bastian was dispatched to North Pueblo West on a call of license plates that had been stolen off a car and replaced with other license plates. A witness had taken a video of a man switching the license plates. The deputy contacted the registered owner of the plates that had been put on the reporting party’s car, and found that their license plates had also been stolen and replaced with the plates that were on a vehicle stolen from a gas station earlier that morning.

On November 9 at 1:10 pm, Deputy Jordan Lira contacted a reporting party by telephone at their Mesa area residence. The reporting party stated they received a US Bank Relicard in the mail with a letter stating their unemployment claim had been accepted. The reporting party stated they had never filed for unemployment and they had contacted US Bank to cancel the card.
